So yeah, I’ve kind of started my new site, just creating the DB at the moment. Using some sense this time, like using proper data types etc, so the site might not run at the speed of a slug swimming in treacle.
Hopefully I can start to get to work on the main php code sometime…soon I dunno when.
But it’s a start :P.

I plan to keep the colour scheme, just make the site more user freindly, and update the UI to make it look more…currentish

This site is pretty damn fast, faster than mine, and i’m next to the server half the time. The slowest part of your site is the quote database thing, which takes like all of 5 seconds to load.
But please dont get rid of the color scheme. So maybe a faster server, and a little optimization, and all will be good in the land of BOD.

The quotes page is just litterally loading the page over the intenret, the generation time is pretty quick.
I wouldn’t call 5.9270 "fast".
